Journey Bank Announces Fifth Annual Photography Competiton

BERWICK PA – Journey Bank is proud to announce its fifth annual Photography Competition, taking place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the First Presbyterian Church, 320 Market Street, Berwick, PA. The contest features local photographers who reside or study within a 50-mile radius of any Journey Bank office.
Journey Bank is proud to support local art programs and to celebrate the talent found in our local communities. “Over the past four years, we’ve had the privilege of seeing talent come through this competition,” said Lance Diehl, President and CEO of Journey Bank. “We look forward to continuing this tradition. Collaborating with these local artists is truly a pleasure.”
The competition is free to enter and open to photographers of all experience levels. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental permission. Entry packets will be available at all Journey Bank locations beginning June 1, 2026, or photographers may register online. Questions may be directed to [email protected]. The submission deadline is Friday, September 18, 2026.
The 2026 Competition categories are as follows:

- Flowers
- Black & White

- Youth Category – For 12 and under, parents may submit photos taken by children.
Each category allows photographers to be creative with their art. Images of individuals; railroad tracks and images created through Artificial Intelligence or using filters are not accepted.
Photographers may enter a maximum of three (3) photographs per category to be judged. There is a 15-image maximum per photographer. Photographs must be the original work of the photographer and taken within the last 3 years. Employees of Journey Bank and any family members living in their household are not eligible.

Overall Best in Show: $125
First Place in each category: $100
Second Place in each category: $50
Third Place in each category: $25
Honorable Mention: Ribbon Only
People’s Choice: Ribbon Only
